POLLUTION PREVENTION The Pollution Prevention Act establishes a national policy of reducing the generation of wastes and pollutants. Companies are now required to report the production of many types of wastes, including hazardous, medical, pharmaceutical and radioactive. Companies may also need to submit annual waste minimization plans to federal or state departments.
Reducing the amount of materials used and wastes generated benefits the environment and your company’s economy by decreasing chemical expenditures and waste treatment and removal costs. ESPL will audit your company’s processes and prescribe a waste minimization plan and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeausures Report.
